ADULT MINISTRIES
Sunday School
There are two classes offered each Sunday for adults. These classes are led by Dr. Steve Reed and Jeff Enger.
Steve Reed's class meets in the Parlor and starts with prayer and prayer concerns. They go consecutivley through a Biblical book or sometimes address selected Biblical texts on a theme, then address questions of interest from those texts. All who attend are encouraged to participate and share observations with the group. This fall, stories from the book of Mark will be studied.
The Adult Class led by Jeff Enger meets in the Boardroom. It is a discussion based class in which DVDs are viewed to provide a basis for discussion. They explore a wide variety of topics and issues as presented by Adam Hamilton, Lee Strobel, R.C. Sproel, Max Lucado and others. It offers and informal time when everyone can share their questions and thougths.
Please join us for Sunday School at 9:15 AM in the class of your choice!
Reading Ministry
Each Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 PM the Reading Group meets at the church in the Boardroom. This group is led by Ruth Barkus. Ruth (and occasionally Yvonne Wegner) ministers to the visually impaired by reading their latest favorite book. Good fellowship is included, which of course means great coffee and treats are served. All are welcome!
